| Position Summary | The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center,Department of Internal Medicine, seeks faculty members to join the Sub-divisionof Geriatric Medicine. This is an open rank and open track position. Salary andrank will be commensurate with experience and education. |
| Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications: 1) Must be board certified orboard eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; 2) Must be boardcertified/board eligible in Geriatric Medicine by date of hire; 3) Must befully licensed to work in New Mexico and 4) Must be eligible to work inUS. 1) Interest/Experience in providing efficientevidence based general geriatric medicine care including but not limited togeriatric assessments, prevention, nutrition/wellness, chronic and complexdisease management ; 2) Interest/experience in teaching medical students,residents, and fellows; 3) Interest/Experience in developing outpatientresearch and quality improvement projects in Geriatrics.; 4)Interest/Experience in caring for underserved populations; 5) A demonstrated commitment to diversity,equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diversecommunities.. |
