Minimum Qualification:

• Doctoral degree in the Instructional Design and Technology, Learning Sciences, Education, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge about Multimedia Learning Theory (e.g., Mayer’s principles)
• Knowledge about visual and information design principles (e.g., gestalt, hierarchy, color theory, alignment, proximity, etc.)
• Experience applying multimedia learning theory and visual & information design principles to a range of adult learning products and contexts (e.g., corporate, health care, government, non-profit, higher education, and so on)
• Experience with rapid design and development processes and strategies (e.g., rapid analysis, storyboarding, prototyping, etc.)
• Experience consulting, managing, and overseeing the development of professional learning products for clients a plus
• Experience teaching online
• A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
