What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temp Parttime Faculty - OILS position at University of New Mexico?
Minimum Qualification:
- Doctoral degree in the Instructional Design and Technology, Learning Sciences, Education, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge about Multimedia Learning Theory (e.g., Mayer's principles)
- Knowledge about visual and information design principles (e.g., gestalt, hierarchy, color theory, alignment, proximity, etc.)
- Experience applying multimedia learning theory and visual & information design principles to a range of adult learning products and contexts (e.g., corporate, health care, government, non-profit, higher education, and so on)
- Experience with rapid design and development processes and strategies (e.g., rapid analysis, storyboarding, prototyping, etc.)
- Experience consulting, managing, and overseeing the development of professional learning products for clients a plus
- Experience teaching online
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
