Position Summary | UNM-Valencia is accepting applications for a temporarypart-time faculty member to teach Geology courses at the 1000-2000 collegelevel in the Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and/or Spring 2026 semester(s). Positions are contingent upon the need of eachsemester as determined by student enrollment levels and current courseofferings. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, TheUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of TheUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis onteaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs,technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools inValencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student bodyof over 2,000 students per semester. UNMhas earned the platinum-level distinction from FamilyFriendlyNM.org for itsworkplace policies. |
