This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of student academic records. Duties include answering general student questions, processing withdrawals, enrollment verifications, and name changes; processing reports, change of majors, and assist indexing/scanning records into BDM; and oversee all transcript processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of student records.Applicants that have the preferred qualifications will be placed in the salary grade of 512 ($32,086.08-$42,781.44) and those with the minimum requirements will be placed in the salary grade of 513 ($29,124.16-$38,833.60).
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Oversee the integrity, accuracy, and security of student data within the university’s student information system; Provide general office assistance to general student inquiries in person, over the phone, or by email; Process name and/or address changes, social security number changes, and withdrawals; Coordinate the enrollment verification/degree verification processes; Coordinate the overall transcript processes to include assisting with troubleshooting system disconnects between the National Student Clearinghouse and Banner and ERP and/or Ellucian by submitting appropriate helpdesk tickets; Coordinate in-campus transcript requests; Ensure that all processed records are indexed and scanned into BDM; Manage data entry, validation, and updates to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards; Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports related to enrollment, academic progress, and other key metrics as requested; Ensure that all data management practices comply with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and other relevant regulations; Monitor and report on data integrity and consistency across various platforms and systems; Identify opportunities for improving data management processes and workflows; Participate in cross-departmental projects and initiatives to enhance data quality and access; Perform all other duties as assigned.ADDITIONAL DUTIES: To be determined.

Salary : $29,124 - $38,834
