The University of North Alabama’s College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position in Interdisciplinary and Professional Studies, beginning in August 2025. The individual selected for this role will serve as Graduate Program Coordinator for our online Master’s in Professional Studies (MPrS). In this capacity, the successful candidate will provide leadership in recruiting prospective students, advising, developing curriculum, conducting program assessments, and teaching courses within the graduate program. There may also be opportunities to teach in the undergraduate interdisciplinary studies baccalaureate program. This position will remain open until filled. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The standard teaching load for lecturers is five courses per semester (5/5). However, acknowledging the demands of graduate program coordination, the position includes a one-course release each fall and spring semester. The Graduate Program Coordinator will also receive a stipend for administrative duties performed over the summer.
