Position Summary
We are seeking a Communications Associate to support our external and internal communications efforts for a short-term project, with the potential for a long-term role. In this position, you will help develop and manage content across multiple channels, including websites, print materials, digital media, and social platforms. Working closely with the Communications Specialist and program team leaders, you will contribute to the execution of communication strategies that align with our mission and values. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

- Collaborate with the Communications Specialist and program teams to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Create, edit, and manage content for periodicals, newsletters, websites, marketing materials, video scripts, and presentations.
- Assist in producing publications and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality output.
- Support the development and execution of social media strategies to enhance engagement.
- Assist with website updates, content management, and basic web development tasks.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to analyze metrics and generate insightful reports.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
