Primary Purpose of Department | The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals. |
Primary Purpose of Position | This position works closely with all team members in the Office of the Registrar and other campus partners. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting several key student information systems used across campus. The position maintains appropriate university-wide rule and validation tables, provides functional leadership in areas under implementation and/or with upgrades, researches functional impacts/benefits in version upgrades and additional modules, and assists in the development of end user documentation and training. The position also proactively updates and prepares those users for any technical improvements/updates with existing systems and also shares opportunities other systems might provide to meet departmental objectives. This role is team-orientated, collaborative, uses a data driven approach to improving student, faculty, and staff success, and is a champion for improved technology solutions. |
Summary of Position Responsibilities | This position serves as a technical resource for the Office of the Registrar. The position works closely with various teams to improve processes, resolve complex issues, and manage some of the technology projects within the OneIT Academic Affairs Support team. Providing data and creating reports that support decisions within the Office of the Registrar is a key task for this role. |
