Experienced aquatics professional to assist with managing the Student Recreation Center Indoor and Outdoor Pool. Duties include leading private swim lessons, teaching health and safety classes, training lifeguards, and completing maintenance related tasks.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Supervisory or related transferable skills
Ability to delegate tasks as appropriate
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience working in collegiate recreation
Student personnel supervision at the collegiate level
2 years working with aquatics programming or related experiences
American Red Cross Instructor training for First Aid, CPR/AED, Blood borne Pathogen
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer
Certified Pool Operator
Required Certifications or Licensure
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit College/School Information Work Hours Varies Work Days Flexible Hours Per Week 25-30 Type of Position Anticipated Hiring Range $12/hour - $20/hour Special Instructions to Applicants
