Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management manages operations for the Athletics Facilities & Event Management work unit. This position independently assesses and identifies multiple and diverse program needs by working with coaches, athletics administration, EH&S, and the CAA. This position is responsible for analyzing, developing, recommending, and implementing initiatives that meet program needs and ensure compliance. This position evaluates, develops, and implements plans to ensure facilities are prepared and ready for competition and spectator use. The Assistant AD also identifies, understands, and provides potential solutions for unique issues and problems. Serve as the backup for the Associate AD for Facilities & Event Management in their absence. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution.
- 2 years or more of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
