Brief Summary of Work for this Position
This position provides student information system support and technical assistance to the Office of the Registrar and other campus partner offices. The position will primarily focus on support for the degree audit information system, but support for other information systems will be expected as well. Support includes diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, coordination and testing of system upgrades, and communication with end users on system issues, resolutions, and changes. This position is also responsible for performing cyclical office procedures such as end-of-term final grades processing, and academic standing calculation and processing. General office technical support will occasionally be required. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Graduation from a two year technical college with a major in an Information Technology field and one year in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or graduation from a four year college or university and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or graduation from a four year college or university with a major in an Information Technology area. Related information technology experience may be substituted year for year for the required education. Preferred education, professional skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical area and / or experience in higher education technology.
- Experience with operating Banner Student, Degree Works, and Image Now systems.
- Experience with PL / SQL to develop reports or analyze data.
- Experience with SQL-based reporting tools.
