Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Facilities Store Stock Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, delivery, and handling of janitorial inventory across campus, including the UNCW Myrtle Grove location. This role involves receiving, verifying, distributing, and inventorying items, primarily focusing on campus-wide janitorial supplies but also extending to maintenance and operational inventories managed in a warehouse environment. As the Facilities Store operation expands, the Coordinator will also oversee the stocking of multiple storage areas on campus to ensure University Housekeepers, Floor Maintenance Technicians, and General Utility Workers have the necessary materials.
This position has been designated as mandatory personnel for the University and may be required to report to work during adverse weather conditions, even though the University may be operating on an alternate schedule. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalency. Preferred education, professional skills and experience Experience with material handling, receiving and delivering products, procurement, ability to operate a utility truck. Required Certifications or licensure Valid NC Driver’s License, or the ability to obtain within 30 days.
