Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
Reporting to the Regional Programs Office Manager (RPOM), the Regional Programs Associate will support the day-to-day operations, administration, project management, and communications for the Regional Development Team and the Executive Director of Regional Programs.
This position assists with internal and external meetings and events for donors / prospects and University leadership / staff; and assists in the planning and implementation of cultivation and stewardship activities. It assists the RPOM in developing and tracking the general department budgets, accounts receivable and expense reconciliation.
This position will work in tandem with the RPOM and will be a point of contact for the unit. It is a key liaison between high-level prospects, external and internal customers and the Executive Director of Development for Regional Programs and Regional Development Officers. With a keen understanding of the importance of these relationships and with excellent communication skills, this position assists in building strong associations between Regional Programs and donors and constituent units across campus.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
