Temporary Digital Projects Assistant
Salary/Position Classification
- $22.50 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 15-19 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
Assist the Digital Initiatives Librarian in creating accessible Word documents and ebook files for a series of Native American studies textbooks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Scanning materials
- Editing Word documents for formatting and scanning errors
- Basic layout formatting
- Related tasks
Required Competencies
- Must be comfortable doing basic text formatting (such as bold, italic, and headings)
- Ability to perform basic images and PDF editing (scanning, resizing, cropping, and converting between formats)
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with ebook editing programs such as Sigil
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
