Typical Responsibilities: Supervises relevant employees and maintains designated areas. Maintains and advises supervisor of supply and equipment needs. Reports building maintenance requirements to supervisor. Responds to special cleaning, recycling, or groundskeeping needs. Maintains equipment. May implement special projects. During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
Required Qualifications: A high school diploma and three years experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Supervises the cleaning of the University, conducts inspections, performs adminstrative duties, maintains supply inventory, supervises equipment maintenance, handles personnel matters, trash pickup and after hour services. This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.
Special Events. Plans, gives instructions on, and inspects the completion of: a) special set-up requests; b) graduations; c) providing manpower during events; d) clean up after events. Supplementary responsibilities. a) work orders; b) campus emergencies; c) coordinates work with other trades and departments as necessary.
