This position is primarily engaged in teaching.
The candidate must hold, at minimum, a master's degree from an acceptable accredited institution in the field of instruction or closely related discipline at time of hire. Preferably has completed most or all of the requirements for the doctorate or equivalent. Must be able to demonstrate effectiveness in teaching.
General Description / Primary Purpose :
The School of Engineering is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor of Electrical Engineering. This position will report to Dr. Alan Harris, Director of the School of Engineering. Position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses with a 4 / 4 teaching load, collaboration with local industry and service to the School, College of Computing, Engineering and Construction and the University of North Florida.
Anticipated Start Date : The position is expected to begin on August 4, 2025.

Required Qualifications :
The candidate must hold a Master's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or closely-related field.
