Job Description
Primary Function: Provides advising, customer service, and support to learners seeking microcredentials, endorsements, and single course offerings; provides individualized assistance to students to identify personal, academic and/or career goals; collaborates with colleges to develop a plan of study for each learner; performs intake and discovery meetings with potential learners to determine their needs and alignment with UNI programming; collaborates with employer partnership staff to develop individualized plans of study for employees; organizes and hosts recruitment events; and serves as the program coordinator for a discretionary number of graduate and/or grant-funded programs or workshops.
Qualifications: At least a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, student affairs, English, or related field plus one year of higher education recruitment or advising experience; experience in customer service or relationship management; exceptional oral and written communication skills; and strong attention to detail required. Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education administration, or related field; advising experience; experience recruiting non-traditional/adult learners; experience managing programs or initiatives; and process development experience preferred. Student experience will be considered. Spring 2025 graduates will be considered. Degree must be conferred prior to start date.
