Job Description
The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety ( UOES ) division is currently hiring for the position of Bartender within the restaurant Rohr’s at The Morris Inn . The UOES division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Position Overview
The Bartender will follow recipes and procedures to properly create, make, serve beverages (alcohol and non alcohol) and socially interact and engage with hotel guests, visitors of Notre Dame, staff and faculty and members of the general public. This position provides table and bar service to guests, and maintains a continuous education of spirits and wines while demonstrating a passion to serve others. This position maintains a clean and organized bar before, during, and at the end of a shift. Supports financial expectations by minimizing waste, has upmost attention of security, compliance, and accuracy, including tasks like protecting cardholder data, and accurately recording sales and proper revenues. The bartender serves and supports food delivery for guests orders, when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of food serving experience or similar customer service experience
- Must be 19 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a bartender permit.
- Must have a working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and food.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
