While working in Campus Dining, you will be able to build your resumé and gain career ready competencies such as self-awareness, teamwork/collaboration, work ethic/professionalism, and critical thinking/problem solving. No previous experience required!
The University Operations, Events, and Safety ( UOES ) division is currently hiring for the position of Student Service Associate (On-Call/Temporary) at Holy Cross College . The University Operations, Events, and Safety division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
The Service Associate supports the mission and goals of a “Best in Class” dining program. As a member of a dynamic dining hall operation, the associate will support the daily operations of the dining hall. He/she will complete general assignments related to the preparation, presentation, service and clean-up of food production through standards of service and hospitality, insuring the Notre Dame Community and guests with the very best in food and service. The service associate prepares work areas for service, sets up and cleans equipment and facilities; participates in general assignments, such as, preparation and delivery of food; participates in special or catered events within the dining hall or elsewhere on campus; and is responsible for performing tasks related to the appearance, safety and sanitation of food service facilities.

- Must be capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
- Must be positive, respectful, and committed to the schedule you create
- Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers and management
