The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures is seeking to appoint a full-time, visiting assistant teaching professor in Italian language and culture in a dynamic undergraduate program committed to innovation and teaching excellence. This is a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal to begin in August 2025. The number of teaching hours will depend on enrollments, but normal teaching load will be 3/3.
Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Italian and English essential, as is extensive experience teaching Italian courses at the university level. PhD or ABD in Italian required. Specialization in linguistics, language pedagogy, or related field preferred.
