This position reports to the Assistant Director for Gifts Accounting & Administration and is responsible for daily gift transactions in our system of record Compass. Must ensure the data quality, accuracy, and completeness of all alumni and donor data in Compass and BEN Financials. Must consistently have the highest attention to detail and maintain donor fiduciary requirements; reconcile gift activity and ensure daily quality checks are completed; complete daily gift adjustments; assist with DAR training for monthly gift training; collaborate training material is up to date; work closely with university colleagues across campus; participate in meetings/trainings.
Work closely with DAR staff to establish solid working relationships; organizational skillset and initiative are required for this fast-paced unit. Prepare documentation on policies and procedures related to gift processing; provide internal cross-training with team as needed; serve as subject matter expert for gift processing functions.

Must demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of alumni, development officers and other co-workers, and other professionals. Must be able to manage multiple daily tasks while working quickly, accurately, and independently. Must have a high comfort level with web research and tools.
Experience in data analysis, preferably in development and alumni relations.
Excellent data entry, attention to detail and analysis skills required.
Must demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of alumni, development officers and other co-workers, and other professionals.
Must be able to manage multiple daily tasks, while working quickly and independently, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a collegial and collaborative environment.
Development Experience Preferred.
Salesforce experience preferred.
Knowledge of Business Objects, Access, Word, and Excel software preferred.
Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed. Required to work Alumni Weekend, Winter Break, and when needed Homecoming.

- Manage daily gift processing responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate deposit and recording of Gift, Credit Card and Pledge contributions to the University. Maintain fiduciary responsibility to donors.
- Works closely with the team and will handle various processing as needed, including daily gift adjustments.
- In coordination with the Assistant Director, ensure all schools, resource centers, and fundraising units adhere to policies and procedures relative to gift processing.
- Act as the department’s primary liaison on all donation concerns.
