The Katz Graduate School of Business at Pitt Business is seeking a qualified Graduate Business Admissions Inquiry Manager to support front-line communications and operational functions within the graduate admissions team. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective students, managing the admissions inbox, responding to initial inquiries, and assisting with campus visits. The Inquiry Manager will work closely with admission staff to ensure smooth visit experiences and escalate high-potential leads to the admissions staff to develop relationships and increase applicant conversion.
Additionally, this position will operate within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to send decision letters, and collaborate with the admissions, enrollment management, and marketing teams to refine email templates and communication journeys. The role will also provide event support and assist with additional operational tasks as needed.

Job Duties
Frontline Communications & Candidate Engagement
- Serve as the primary manager of the graduate admissions inbox, responding to prospective student inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide initial guidance and information to prospective students regarding program offerings, admissions requirements, and application processes.
- Identify and escalate high-potential leads to the Associate Dean, Assistant Director, and Associate Directors for further engagement and conversion.
- Support the decision letter process, ensuring timely communication to applicants.
- Operate within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to send decision letters and manage communication templates.
- Collaborate with admissions, enrollment management, and marketing teams to refine email journeys and communication strategies.
- Assist in graduate admissions events, including information sessions and recruitment activities.
- Provide on-campus support as needed for admissions-related initiatives.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of campus visits for prospective students.
- Provide logistical support and assist in scheduling meetings between prospective students and faculty, staff, or current students.
- Assist with additional operational tasks in support of the admissions team and Enrollment Manager.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide prompt and professional responses to prospective students.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Customer service experience and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not required.
