The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of health sciences research, including clinical, claims, *omics, and administrative datasets. Additionally, they should possess knowledge of dataset contents and relevant use cases. The data outreach coordinator will work with study teams and departments to promote existing data and assist in navigating the process for data access, including obtaining necessary regulatory approvals. Coordination with other University data repository owners and thorough documentation to ensure accessibility for the health sciences research community will be essential.
This position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Candidates must have experience in health sciences research and proficiency in querying data using T-SQL, Python, or R. Excellent communication skills are imperative as the role involves addressing small groups and delivering presentations to various departments or schools, both in-person and remotely.
