What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communication Faculty position at University of Saint Francis?
The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Communication beginning August 15, 2025. The position is open in regard to specialization, but the successful candidate should be prepared to offer a variety of introductory and advanced courses within the field. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring) and we encourage applications from candidates who are committed to teaching, interested in curriculum and program development and willing and able to collaborate with colleagues from across the university. Other responsibilities include student advising and mentoring, continuing professional development and a commitment to service within the Division, across the University and in the community. The successful candidate must be able to advance the Catholic and Franciscan Mission of the University. Rank and salary are dependent upon the appointee's qualifications and experience. A candidate with a master’s degree in Communication or a closely related field is required while a Ph.D. is preferred.
