The purpose of this position is to oversee and provide communications and marketing support for all programs included in CarolinaCrED.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of communication principles involving digital communications and practices and techniques of disseminating information to the public through digital media. Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail are required. Knowledge of grammar, composition and style. Knowledge of the methods and techniques used in planning, composing, editing and producing publications. Knowledge of principles and methods of planning, conducting and supervising large scale public relations programs. Ability to gather, organize and present oral and written information in a clear, concise and accurate manner. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the communication media and general public.

Create print and digital content that aligns with the College of Education communications plan. Plan and conduct photoshoots that align with College of Education priorities. Assist in creative direction for projects related to recruitment, development, and faculty and staff activity within the college.

Create and maintain content marketing for CarolinaCrED and other external-facing programs to build audience, engagement, and partnership development across P-20 education, with an emphasis on K-12 district leaders and higher education.

Create aligned content for, craft and execute plans for, and report on CarolinaCrED’s website, social media channels, and email campaigns.
