Under general supervision, provides planning, management, and administrative support to the Integrated Technology and Facilities department at the University of South Carolina (USC), School of Medicine Greenville (SOMG). Manages special projects and training related to department goals. Participates in facility management, emergency planning/preparedness, policy compliance, and ensuring alignment of school, university, and health system activities. Collaborates and works directly with various stakeholder groups (internal/external), students, faculty, institutional and administrative offices, donors, and other similar interests. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Performs day-to-day tasks of the Integrated Technology and Facilities Department and coordinates the workflows and projects necessary to ensure the department goals are met. Ensures all tasks have been completed for facility preparedness for classes, meeting, events (internal/external). Plans and supports the logistics necessary to support the department by evaluating opportunities and determining fit with priorities. Collaborates with leadership to ensure compliance and training completed for facility emergency preparedness. Coordinates the design, implementation, and evaluation of exercises. Serves as Assistant Incident Command officer during emergencies and exercises. POC for facility scheduling resolutions. May supervise administrative staff and/or students for specific projects/initiatives as requested.

Serves as a strategic leader, plans and executes short-term and long-term projects, including identifying trends in facility utilization and recommending projects to remediate issues and improve the service offering to better meet the strategic goals of the USCOMG. Works with internal and partner stake holders to ensure that projects are in compliance with all applicable policies and codes. Maintains information regarding departmental policies and procedures for SOMG. Coordinates and manages special reports and presentations for the Manager of Integrated Technology and Facilities, such as the USC Annual Inventory, LCME Accreditation Reports, and others as requested by the Manager of Facilities & Integrated Technology.

Coordinates the tracking and archiving of Facility metrics. Analyze, generates, and provides reports based on archived metrics. Submits and works trouble tickets and follows up with various departments that tickets are assigned to ensure timely resolution. Tracks and checks in ordered items. Updates help desk assets and tickets as appropriate. Performs inventory management for AV, IT, and Facilities items. Provides interface with SOMG and Prisma Health to ensure support for initiatives are reached.

Event Management
Coordinates set up of spaces for events, reset of classrooms, and other building spaces. Coordinates with point of contact for events to ensure needs are met. Schedule EVS and security for events as needed and required by operating guidelines. Ensures that finance department has needed information to ensure payment of event related expenses and invoices.

Ensures availability of staffing for access control of front parking lot, Help Desk triage, building access control, stocking of dispensers and materials, cleaning tasks when needed. Assists the Manager Integrated Tech & Facilities with special projects and tasks as needed. Assists with the onboarding of all new employees to ensure smooth transition into their SOMG role. Assists employees by providing a Prisma badge, office/building keys, and ensuring technology equipment needs are met.
