The Trades Specialist assist in repair and maintenance of heating/air conditioning, plumbing, electrical maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and seasonal yard maintenance.
This position also assist in set-ups for special events, painting offices, classrooms, and other surfaces of buildings.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience
Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires no prior work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Basic knowledge of equipment used in maintaining buildings, vehicles, and general knowledge in use and servicing of yard equipment. Painting skills are also required.

- Assists in routine repair maintenance of heating/air conditioning
- Assists in routine plumbing maintenance
- Washes, vacuum, and other routine upkeep of vehicles
- Checks and replaces light bulbs inside and outside of buildings
Performs seasonal yard maintenance and upkeep of yard equipment
- Operates mower, weed eater, blower, edger, leaf vacuum, and other power equipment
- Keep sidewalks and curbing free of debris
- Routinely checks and frees water drains of leaves and debris
- Weeds rose gardens and shrubbery as needed
- Assists with set-ups for conferences and meetings
- Collects recyclable materials
- Paint in offices, classrooms, and other surfaces of buildings as needed
- Other duties as assigned
