Business Coord (Admin Coord I), Minimum Salary: $45,133 per year, USCA School of Business Administration
Under the general supervision of the Dean of the School of Business Administration at USCA, provides broad-based management of the business and accreditation functions for SOBA, including budgets, travel, communication, events, record keeping, data collection, data analysis, etc. Supports maintenance of accreditation in compliance with standards. The position coordinates all accreditation, analysis and assessment activities directed toward continuous improvement. Minimum Requirements: Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires 3 or more years of job related experience. Must have valid driver’s license. This position will require occasional travel by air and land to training seminars and to other colleges and campuses. Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration and 1 year related experience in business, public administration or administrative services, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience. Must have relevant quantitative skills applicable to budgets and accreditation reporting. Proficient at using a PC and relevant software. Data skills for the creation and interpretation of charts, tables, graphs, and other reports. Excellent oral and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Able to produce lengthy, coherent reports. Able to research, collect and report data through online survey systems.

Oversee SOBA budget activities (for foundation and university accounts) using available budgetary software and Excel spreadsheets as needed. Reports deviations to Dean in a timely manner. Promptly enters, consolidates, and tracks budget records generated on email or other university forms on Excel spreadsheets. Maintains complete and accurate records of all expenditures in SOBA. Utilizes the records to prepare accreditation reporting. Assist faculty search committees, if requested, in following all University policies related to the search. Maintains accurate records of SOBA employees. Process all paperwork for all faculty appointments and hires. Processes all paperwork related to travel by SOBA employees.

Serves as the manager for accreditation functions for the School of Business Administration. Serves as the point of contact for Institutional Effectiveness. This may include travel to training events. Gathers and enters all data necessary for mandatory and optional AACSB reporting. Provides support for the development of the Accreditation Self-Study Report. Serves as the point of contact for the AACSB Peer Review Team and coordinates and facilitates the visit, including travel arrangement, scheduling, and supporting the team. Ensure that all accreditation related record keeping for the School of Business Administration is properly entered into assessment software. Organizes all records relevant to accreditation into an easily accessible electronic database, including syllabi, CVs, AOL reports, budget reports, meeting minutes, etc. Verifies the accuracy of information in the databases. Ensures that necessary data for accreditation reporting is either being collected by other offices on campus or facilitates data collect as necessary.

Serves as the point of contact for the Vice Chancellor of Marketing for the School of Business Administration. Collects, maintains, and provides necessary information regarding student engagement, societal impact, success stories, curricular innovations, etc. In conjunction with university marketing efforts, works to ensure that SOBA has appropriate communication regarding the school through on campus communication, social media, media materials, news coverage, etc. Maintains appropriate records of communication efforts in electronic databases. Periodically reviews USCA and external/partner websites covering SOBA content and information is up to date and accurate. Ensure appropriate use of university branding on all communication and promotion.
