The Financial Aid Specialist serves as the primary contact for community outreach for financial aid for Spartanburg county schools and organizations. Serves Spartanburg County enrolled and prospective students and adults returning to college. Performs FA counseling to prospects, parents, and current students. Performs file review, required follow-up and verification of data as required by the Department of Education. Responsible for the oversight of financial aid processing and awards. Assists with completion of Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) and provides information sessions about financial aid.
