Advertised Job Summary
Serves as Learning Specialist reporting to the Senior Assistant Dean for Success and Wellness. Work in conjunction with program coordinators/directors to assist students in all medical school programs with various needs as they relate to academics. Primary purpose is to advise and assist students in need of additional support services in relation to achieving program success. This person will assist all students in improving their academic status as is relevant to their future educational/employment goals. Learning Specialists assist with academic preparation based on each individual student’s strengths, needs, and academic goals. Demonstrate commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate experience is strongly preferred;

Collaborate with the students and appropriate offices for testing and identification of resources to assist with meeting program requirements
