The Department of Political Science and International Relations (POIR) in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position in American Politics as part of a major hiring initiative.
We seek candidates with a strong substantive research program in any domain of American politics, whose work advances theoretical and empirical research on important questions in their subfield.
Candidates are expected to have strong methodological training, and their methodological skills, ability to advise graduate students on methodological issues and teach graduate classes in the Department's core methods sequence will be a consideration. A strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education is also expected.
The candidate must have completed a Ph.D. by the appointment date. Review of applications will start March 24, 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,510 - $281,400.
