Position Details
Information Technology and Security (ITS) at The University of Tampa seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and support advancing institutional goals. Under the direction of the Director of Enterprise Solutions, this position will be responsible primarily for the deployment, maintenance, and support of ancillary applications and secondary support of the University's Enterprise Applications. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of experience in business analysis and a proven record of accomplishment in delivering impactful solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Applications System Support : provide first- or second-tier support for highly complex, non-academic Enterprise applications and processes.
- Implement New Technology : Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement new initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project scope.
- Enhance Existing Technology : Collaborate with functional users to gather requirements and define objectives to achieve project, service request, or enhancement request goals.
- Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze departmental data to help uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Documentation : Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, process maps, and other artifacts to guide development and implementation.
- Change Management : Support adopting and updating tools, technologies, and workflows utilizing established Change Management practices.
- Business Relationship Management (BRM) : Utilize an existing customer relationship management (CRM) system to build strong relationships and document communications with our functional users and vendors.
- Continuous Improvement : Provide constructive feedback, practical options, and innovative solutions on how current processes can be improved resulting in more effective and efficient operations.
