The Office of Financial Aid is looking for an individual with financial aid, student finance, or other similar experience to fill the Loan Coordinator position on our Loans & Eligibility Verification Team. The Loan Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of reviewing, certifying, awarding, and originating State and Private educational loans to ensure that timely and accurate eligibility determinations and disbursements are made in compliance with applicable regulations. This position is also responsible for reviewing, originating, and returning Federal Title IV program funds, including Direct Loan and TEACH Grant Awards, to ensure that timely and accurate eligibility determinations and disbursements are made in compliance with applicable regulations. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience. Three years previous experience working in Financial Aid or Higher Education. Excellent organizational skills; proficient in MS Office products with ability to learn other software programs; detail oriented, and accurate. Strong communication skills: written, oral, active listening and interpersonal skills. |

Additional Information | The required work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM. The successful candidate must be eligible to administer Title IV student aid. An equivalency of completed education and relevant work experience may be accepted for this position. Remote Work Notice Following successful completion of an initial training period, a hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval. Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be cancelled.
