Salary

Salary Range: Commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.

Hours per Week

Exempt Position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions

Function:

Assists in all aspects of complex strength and conditioning programs for football. Provides professional knowledge, technical expertise and supervisory skills to oversee all aspects of the strength and conditioning programs designated by immediate supervisor.

Scope:

Responsible for the design, implementation and supervision of yearlong strength and conditioning programs designated by immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach:

• Two years of experience working at a college/university or with elite level athletes.

Associate Strength and Conditioning Coach:

• Three years of experience working at a college/university or with elite level athletes.

Associate/Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field of study
• USAW certification substitutes for one year of experience
• CPR and Basic First Aid certification
• CSCS or SCCC Certification
• Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Driving license history check
• Criminal Background Check (CBC)

Working Conditions

• Ten-to-fourteen-hour days on the floor coaching, on the field coaching and in office.
• Weekend, holiday and summer hours are required.

This position will be primarily located:

On Campus: Primary work location will be on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
