Function: Provide assistance in organization, management, and administration for the UTSA Football Team.
Scope: Responsible for assisting the DFO in performing and overseeing administrative operations of the football team in support of the goals and objectives of the athletics program.
Typical:
- New student athlete onboarding coordinator.Advance travel party during the playing season to all away and home games.
- Assists in Passport Application process for all student-athletes.
- Assists DFO with administrative duties.
- Provides technology assistance for student athletes.
- Monitors / communicates with all guests during fall and spring practices.
- RACE parking lot attendant for UTSA Football.
- Assists DFO & Julian Griffin with pro football scouts.
- Assists the Football Administrative Assistant in clerical duties.
Periodic:
- Assists with camp preparation and activity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Three years of playing and/or coaching any sport at the collegiate level, OR three years of playing and/or coaching any sport at the high school level, OR two years experience in sports administration.
- Demonstrated public speaking experience.
Working Conditions
- Normal office and indoor/outdoor athletic facility environments.
- Frequent evening and weekend hours. Substantial travel.
