Salary

Salary Range: $15-$16/per hour

Hours per Week

Non-Exempt Position, Non-Benefits Eligible: 19 hours per week.

Shift days for this position are Thursday - Sunday; hours are flexible within those days.

Essential Functions

Function: Under general supervision, provides direct customer assistance and service in a front-desk university environment.

Scope: Provides customer assistance and service in support of an office.

Typical Duties:
  • Provides direct front-desk customer assistance to include answering telephones, greeting customers and providing assistance, direction, or general information.
  • Performs general administrative support as needed.
  • Researches and provides assistance to customers with inquiries.
  • Communicates information to supervisor as needed.
  • Maintain and monitor equipment within labs, classrooms, and conference rooms. Reports issues as appropriate.
  • Provide audio-visual support for special events and projects.
  • Exhibits clear and concise communication, guidance and clarification regarding rules and regulations.
  • Uses own judgement to provide guidance to customers based on their needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Required Qualifications
  • High school graduation or GED.
  • One year of customer service and/or clerical work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

Some college level coursework.

Working Conditions

The primary work location for this position will be on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
