Position Summary
The Student Resources Specialist I performs duties involving the interpretation and evaluation of student services information for students, the general public and University staff. The Student Resources Specialist I reports to the Assistant Registrar for Student Resources.

Description Of Job Duties
- Determines and makes recommendations based on guidelines and policies in the areas the following areas, but are not limited to registration, student self-service and graduation assistance.
- Ensures all documentation adheres to university policies and academic calendar.
- Assists the Assistant Registrar with processing transcript requests utilizing Parchment.
- Assists the Assistant Registrar with processing registration forms utilizing Banner SIS .
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Provides quality customer service for all stakeholders: students, parents, staff and faculty; customer service includes interaction by phone, email, and in-person.
- Ensures complete customer satisfaction.
- Maintains client records and documents processes.
- Redirects stakeholders to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Assists the Office of the Registrar with troubleshooting problems and drive resolutions.

- Provides training and assistance to students in navigating the student portal and online student services processes when they visit the Registrar’s office.

- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA .

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 10lbs for table set-up/tear-down at graduation events.
- Ability to push/pull event carts holding up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to actively engage in graduation events for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly move about campus and event venues to actively engage faculty, staff, and potential/current students, as well as attend meetings on campus.
