Primary Purpose | The Academic Support Librarian plays a valuable role in providing energy and initiative to the University of the Pacific Library's research support and learning services. Reporting to the Director of University Libraries, the person in this role collaborates with fellow librarians in delivering services to the University community. In particular, the person in this position will develop curated collections, provide research expertise, and deliver educational services for the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy, the School of Engineering and Computer Science, additional STEM departments, and other programs as needed. The Academic Support Librarian contributes to a student-centered organization and is committed to examining and pursuing ways to address diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) within the library. |

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment. Some evening and weekend work is required. The Academic Support Librarian may support programs in all three campuses (Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco). The position is approximately 10% travel between university campus locations but will be based on the Stockton Campus. Valid driver's license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University's fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record. |
Hiring Range | $66,560.00 - $83,799.30 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
