Responsibilities Disclaimer · This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification. Essential Functions · Manage scheduling and coordinate meetings, including logistics and support for in-person and virtual events. · Direct phone calls and emails to the appropriate individuals or offices. · Process and distribute mail, create and maintain files, and assist with Microsoft Office processes. · Maintain office equipment and arrange for repairs or services as needed. · Support in-person lunches and other office-related activities. · Manage office purchases, travel arrangements, and procurement processes. · Create and maintain social media content to promote the Center for Global Surgery and its activities. · Serve as a point of contact, answering questions about the Center and its associated programs. · In-Office one to two times a week Problem Solving · The incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with the department’s policies and procedures and are required to have a working knowledge of University and department organizations and procedures in order to answer and assist staff and visitors. · This position has no responsibility for providing patient care.

Comments: · Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required o Nearly Continuously: Office environment. · Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required o Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking o Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
