About the Role
- Provide personalized banking services to members, including account openings, loan applications, and other financial transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing members, identifying opportunities to meet their financial needs and exceed their expectations.
- Cross-sell and promote UW Credit Union's products and services to increase revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of banking experience, preferably in a teller role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with banking software and technology, including online platforms and mobile apps.
- Knowledge of credit union operations, policies, and procedures.
- Experience working in a peak-time capacity, handling high volumes of transactions and member interactions.
