What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Edit the weekly graduate student newsletter, collecting and compiling content while adhering to established voice and style guidelines
Assist with website content maintenance, providing feedback on content and structure
Create event registration forms and automated email reminders using the email marketing tool Eloqua
Promote Graduate School events through special promotional email campaigns and social media posts
Provide feedback and generate ideas for engaging graduate students in professional development programming
What is Required (Qualifications) :
Must be enrolled as a graduate student at the employer
Experience working independently and collaboratively to complete tasks
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details and deadlines
Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills, demonstrated through application materials
Experience communicating effectively and professionally with supervisors and peers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
Experience writing and editing for a broad, public audience
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Eloqua, MailChimp, Constant Contact, or similar
Experience with event registration forms through tools like Google Forms or Qualtrics
Knowledge of digital accessibility best practices for websites and emails
Understanding of the needs of graduate students and campus resources available to them
