What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Provide support and troubleshooting for library technology
Assist with the resolution of problems at the help desk for library staff, faculty, researchers, and students
Process circulation of technology items (laptops, cameras, etc.) to / from patrons
Manage orders for poster prints and other technology-related tasks
Deliver courteous customer service to library patrons and staff
What is Required (Qualifications) :
Excellent customer service skills
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Interest in problem-solving or experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems
Ability to work both independently and within a team context
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
Formal or informal computer support experience
Familiarity with standard desktop hardware and software
Understanding of computer networking
Ability to lift computing equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and monitors
