Position Summary
UW-River Falls College of Education, Business and Allied Health maintains a pool of qualified candidates from which part-time staff may be drawn to fill vacancies on a temporary basis in various departments and disciplines. Successful applicants become members of a pool of temporary instructional academic staff eligible to teach, based upon the needs of the department, funding and availability of the prospective staff member.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Qualifications for all positions in the College of Education, Business and Allied Health include:
1. Master’s or terminal degree (depending on position) in a related discipline
2. Minimum one year teaching at high school or college level or 3 years teaching at K-12 level
3. Experience in area of expertise
Additional academic preparation or experience in a specific area may be required in some departments.

Criminal Background Check and Reference Check Policy
Employment will require a criminal background check. Final candidates will be required to provide three professional references with at least one being a prior supervisor. Misconduct checks will be completed prior to hire per UW System Administrative Policy 1275.Misconduct checks will be completed and a personnel file review for any University of Wisconsin or State employee within the past seven years prior to hire per UW System Administrative Policy 1275.
