Job Description
We are looking for a Front Office Receptionist to join our outpatient physical therapy team. You will coordinate all functions necessary for an efficient and productive patient flow between check-in, treatment, and check-out. You will serve as the main point of contact for all non-clinical patient services, which includes managing the patient scheduling process, collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments, maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records, keeping the front desk area organized, and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Job Duties:
- Greet Patients.
- Answer the phones.
- Electronic Scheduling and booking appointments.
- Data Entry.
- Verify current personal and financial information.
- Verify insurance benefits.
- Collecting money over the counter.
- Faxing and filing and performing any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have 1 years of previous knowledge in a medical front office preferred.
- Excellent telephone skills
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with medical software is preferred.
- Team player attitude, energetic, focused on excellent customer service.
