Description
Rocky Top ENT & Allergy is seeking a full-time experienced, well qualified Medical Assistant Float who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will be expected to be flexible in their daily assignment and float from different positions depending on staffing needs for the day.
Job Description:
- Greet patients and assist with patient requests upon arrival to clinic
- Obtain and record demographic, insurance and financial information
- Accurately records patient history, complete patient vitals, retrieves basic condition of patient and reports to appropriate practitioner.
- Assists provider with examination, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, such as: subq and IM injections, in office surgery, collect and record various laboratory tests. Assist Doctor with multiple in office procedures.

Requirements
- Four (5) 8-hour shifts
- Reliable transportation
- This Position will require working in our Oak Ridge Office 2-3 days a week
- Willingness to travel to Oak Ridge and Crossville office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
Education/Experience:
- Requirement of GED or High School Diploma
- 1 year experience in healthcare facility is preferred
- Completion of Medical Assistant program, registered/certified (RMA/CMA) or 2 years’ experience working in medical office
