Description
University Physicians' Association is looking for outstanding candidates to join the Women's Care Group, an OB/GYN practice in Knoxville, TN, as a full-time Ultrasound Technician.
Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal well-being, doppler studies and first trimester screens.
- Produces diagnostic images for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on pregnant patients
- Perform portable exams
- Transports patients to and from in patient settings
- May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.
- Explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
- Maintains and calibrates equipment.
- Monitors, records and communicates as appropriate utilizing Phoenix system.
- May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.

Requirements
- OB experience
- ROMS registered/eligible
- Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Program
