What is it like as an IT Engineer at Univision?
Engineers will work independently and on team-based tasks and projects encompassing the IT needs of our managed clients. This requires a high-level understanding of complex technical and networking concepts, the ability to translate that into useful verbiage for lower-level technicians and customers-alike. Our success is built on teamwork, GSD-R (Get Stuff Done-Right), and providing great customer service.

NOTE: We are currently looking for applicants in the Missoula, MT area. This is not a remote position.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills at all times, successfully guiding the client from start to finish.
- Performing on-site visits to client locations.
- On-site visits can sometimes span hours to days, availability to travel is important.
- Longer distance travel is scheduled in advance, we provide new and well-maintained vehicles for safe driving in Montana conditions.
- Working under the direction of higher-level engineers for projects.
- Act as an escalation point for lower-level technicians to help, train, and assist as needed.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and appropriate questioning.
- Ability to WFH (Work From Home) and WFO (Work From Office) as needed.
- Determine the best solutions based on the issues present and details provided by customers.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Take on escalated tasks to not only see them through but use them as training opportunities for lower-level peers.
- Provide accurate information on supported IT products or services.
- Communicate effectively with client on any follow-up, status updates, change orders, etc.
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
- Get involved in product and service management, development and deployment opportunities.
- Collaborate with multiple departments within Univision to provide excellent service to our valued clients.
- Be a team player that can take the initiative to solve various problems and see tasks through to completion.
- Engage in Univision's knowledge sharing programs to learn from and teach to others.
- Look for pro-active solutions for our customer's current and future needs, solving issues before they become problems.
Qualification/Certifications/Requirements
- 3 years of professional IT experience expected in order to meet Engineer requirements.
- Ability to conduct on-site visits that can span hours to days and be available to occasionally travel.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Experience working with RMM remote support solutions.
- Experience with security suites for anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-ransomware, zero trust, and EDR.
- Experience with backup suites for on-premise and off-premise file and image-based backup solutions.
- Experience with eFax and VoIP preferred.
- Experience with complex network solutions and deployments preferred.
- Experience with multiple virtualization platforms preferred.
- Ability to perform various hardware services on workstations.
- Ability to perform hardware maintenance on servers.
- Experience with network hardware setup, staging, and deployment.
- Experience with centrally managed device management consoles and environments preferred.
- Microsoft Operating System Experience.
- Microsoft Office Product Experience.
- Microsoft Azure and 365 Experience.
- MacOS and iOS experience preferred.
- Android experience preferred.
- Experience Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Skype, Zoom, etc. remote conferencing software.
- IT Experience as at an engineer-level is desirable.
- Formal IT Training/Education is desirable but not required – College, Certifications, etc.

Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
