We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Activations/Remote Technician to join our team at TelevisaUnivision. This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment for live events, client activations, and remote broadcasts. Your Day-day
Event Setup & Operation:
- Prepare and set up broadcast equipment at various remote locations, ensuring all technical aspects are ready for live transmissions.
- Collaborate with the event team to execute client activations and promotional events seamlessly.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver outstanding service during events and activations.
- Provide on-site support and coordination for promotional activities, ensuring client expectations are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with audio and transmission equipment during live events.
- Perform regular maintenance on broadcasting gear and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Operate soundboards, microphones, and other equipment during live broadcasts, ensuring high-quality audio.
- Monitor broadcasts for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment used, issues encountered, and solutions implemented during events.
- Report on event outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in broadcasting, communications, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in radio broadcasting, live event production, or technical support preferred.
- Proficiency with audio equipment, sound mixing, and broadcasting software.
- Familiarity with RF transmission and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment of up to 50 pounds.
