Job Summary
We’re looking for a Developmental Therapist to join our amazing team! If you have experience with toddlers, know a thing or two about child development, and have a love for teaching, but you’re also ready to expand into the medical field and work with special needs babies and toddlers, this role is perfect for you.
In this role, you’ll help young children reach their developmental goals through an early intervention approach that’s both play-based and fun. Get ready to be part of a supportive team and enjoy the flexibility to design your own schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Early Intervention: Provide developmental therapy to toddlers with special needs, helping them develop essential skills through play-based activities.
- Flexibility: Create your schedule, choose how far you want to travel, and work as many or as few hours as you’d like (minimum 15 hours per week).
- Team Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings with OTs, PTs, and SLPs to provide the best care for the kids.
- Client Communication: Work with families to track progress, give guidance, and support their child’s development at home.
- Documentation: Keep track of progress, document sessions, and ensure that each child is meeting their goals.

- Developmental Therapist: Experience working with toddlers, knowledge of child development, and a passion for early intervention.

- Flexibility: You want the freedom to create your own schedule and dictate your travel distance for home health visits.

- Self-Motivated: You can manage your time, stay organized, and keep track of your clients and progress.
- Certification: A certification as a Developmental Therapist is required, but don’t worry—we’ll help you obtain it for free and guide you through the training process! A bachelors degree or higher in a related field is required.
