Job Description
The General Mental Health Clinician functions as an independent healthcare provider who, working collaboratively within a team, provides mental health diagnostic assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families.
Responsibilities include assessment/intake, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, case management, and related documentation. Our Clinicians demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice.

Job Specifications and Requirements:
- Perform assessments to evaluate a variety of mental health and behavioral conditions to children, adolescents and adults.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic and patient placement criteria.
- Ensure that each patient’s rights are protected and that they are provided with appropriate interventions based on ability to participate, cultural concerns, and diagnostic impression.
- Keep and maintain accurate progress notes for treatment records and billing.
- Attend all necessary meetings, discussions, and supervisions to ensure high quality continuity of care.
Qualifications
Additional Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Licensed Clinicians (LCSW, LPC or LMFT).
- Must comply with all HIPAA (confidentiality) laws as it relates to Protected Health Information.
- Must consent to and pass a criminal background check.
- Must be willing to go into the home of the families served for the authorized number of hours per week based on each referral.
- Must possess a driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (vehicle must be documented by the agency to be insured and registered).
- Must have moderate to advanced computer and cell phone knowledge.
- Must be able to continuously complete role functions requiring sufficient physical ability, mobility, vision, hearing, and communication when providing direct services to youth and families in the home, community, and/or via telehealth.
- Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and a self-starter.
- Must be creative, enthusiastic, and a team player!
- Bilingual or sign language a plus.
